Sandra is a Professor of Exercise Physiology and Director of the Neuromuscular Physiology of Movement Laboratory and the Athletic and Human Performance Research Center at Marquette University (USA) . Sandra’s research focuses on why and how people lose muscle strength and power as they age, the differences between men and women, and determining the best exercise strategies and interventions to offset the loss of strength and muscle power that occurs with age.

Is it wise to wear a mask during exercise? The answer is not straight forward and will differ between people, the type of exercise and situation in which you are exercising. Wearing a mask can be uncomfortable while exercising.
